Arboricolor is a fictional stationery project created during a workshop, aiming to offer eco-friendly local products that generate the least waste possible.
Create the packaging and logo for an eco-friendly creative leisure pack.

The Project
The uniqueness of Arboricolor lies in its innovative packaging: once the crayons reach the end of their life, they can be planted directly in their original packaging to grow plants. At the end of each crayon is a random seed, thus allowing for the playful and responsible extension of the product's use.
For the printing processes, the packaging is made from recycled paper, using vegetable ink. Each element is assembled and glued by hand to limit the impact of machines in the manufacturing process. In order to reach a broader audience, Arboricolor comes in two versions: one designed for children and the other intended for adults.

My Approach
Identification of the Target Audience
I have defined two main targets: children aged 2 to 10 and creative adults. The project thus takes shape in two distinct ranges: a general public version, designed for playful and accessible use, and a more specialized version, focused on higher quality and demanding materials.
A Packaging Aligned with Arboricolor's Values
Arboricolor is based on strong values that define its identity: respect and protection of the environment, as well as local production. The packaging has been designed accordingly, printed with vegetable inks on recycled paper. The additional information, presented in the form of stickers, is produced locally and distributed directly around points of sale, in order to limit environmental impact and support the local economy.

Difficulties
Ecological Compatibility and Functionality
Create an attractive design while using recycled paper and vegetable-based inks, which limits certain shades of colors and textures. I had to adapt the visuals to keep them readable and impactful despite these material restrictions.
Optimize the Information Hierarchy
Organize graphic elements so that the planting instructions and seed information are clear and visible in a limited space. It was challenging to harmonize text, illustrations, and interactive elements (stickers, inserts…) to create a coherent and aesthetic whole.
